New Look, Same Wagon Shed
For three generations, the Zimmerman family has kept the Wagon Shed legacy alive. Now, Joe and Erica Zimmerman are guiding the next chapter. They wanted to bring their charming rustic location into a new era, with a focus on weddings and banquets. Ole Zim’s partnered with IDS to develop a website that reflects their goals their new goals and showcases the venue’s charm. Our goal was to design a wedding venue website that stands out and prioritizes their wedding and banquet venue focus.
With this new direction, came a new audience. The redesigned Ole Zim’s website needed to capture the attention of today’s wedding-ready couples whose tastes differ from the rustic dining look of their original website. Our new design is welcoming, minimal yet informative, and lets the gorgeous photography tell the story.
Wedding-First Content
Ole Zim’s is known for its personalized service and flexibility. Couples can customize and decorate the venue to make the space truly their own. We wanted to highlight those strengths, while keeping the user experience simple and inviting. Content was organized into clear sections with quicklinks at the top of each page, helping visitors quickly find the details they need.
We also focused on capturing the emotional side of the experience. The gallery images we selected emphasizes the beauty of the venue, the care that goes into every celebration, and the excitement of everyone involved. The photography help visitors envision their wedding day at Ole Zim’s from the moment they arrive on the homepage.
